Marriage Preparation Course

The Department of Family Apostolate, Diocese of Faridabad-Delhi, conducts Marriage Preparation Course (MPC) to prepare the youngsters to meet the challenges of married life. The classes are in English and the topics relevant to the life. Individual and couple mentoring sessions are integrated with the course for the benefit of the candidates. At the completion of the course, a certificate is issued to the participants, which is approved by the synod for the pastoral care of the migrant catholic community and is valid lifelong.

Residential Programme

The MPC is conducted as a three day intensive residential programme. It is conducted on the first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of prescribed months.

MPC starts on Friday morning 08 a.m. to Sunday evening 4.30 p.m. Food and accommodation is arranged with fees apart from course fee. Candidates have to bring personal care items required for a three day stay.

Instructions for course:

  1. Please register for Marriage Preparation course when you are intending to get married.
  2. It is preferred that both couples attend the same batch.
  3. You can book the seat 90 days/3 months in advance.
  4. Candidate has to attend all the classes and the mentoring sessions.
Booking for Marriage Preparation Course (MPC) and the further process
  1. Book your seat on link provided at the bottom of this page and you will get an automated reply acknowledging the booking.
  2. You will get an email confirming the allocation of seat and other required information within 3 or 4 days of the booking or a regret mail (if seats are full).
  3. You will get an 15 days prior to the scheduled course date to comply with formalities of the course such as fill up registration form, payment of course, food & accommodation fees.
  4. Once formalities are completed, a batch Whatsapp group will be formed and we shall send you class notes and other study materials etc.
  5. Followed by a Google Form questionnaire to be completed prior to the classes.
  6. Individual and couple mentoring sessions will be conducted online on Monday to Thursday on a given time slot.
  7. A feedback Google Form will be sent to you to complete after your mentoring session/s.
  8. You will receive the MPC Certificate in PDF format after the completion of mentoring sessions.
